Executive Team:
Edward M. (Ned) Lamont, Founder & Chairman of the Board Ned is a twenty-year veteran of the cable television industry and founder of the Company and assists in the management of over one hundred and thirty cable systems nationwide. A graduate of Harvard College and Yale School of Management, Ned managed the start up of Cablevision of Connecticut's 50,000 subscriber addressable system in Fairfield County, Connecticut.
Brian M. Benz, CEO, Board Member Brian has over fifteen years of broad-based financial, operational and start-up experience and most recently helped to grow four successful emerging growth companies in the Internet communications, content and healthcare industries. He most recently was Chief Financial Officer for OnSite Access, a building-centric provider of data and voice communications services, and prior to that was Chief Financial Officer for Yoyodyne Entertainment, Advanced Health Corporation and Physicians' Online. He has helped to raise almost $270 million for these entrepreneurial ventures. He was also an investment banker for Merrill Lynch and has a CPA and MBA from Columbia University.

Christopher G. Hanssens, Managing Partner, Eureka Growth Capital Prior to joining Eureka, Chris was a vice president with Murray, Devine & Co., Inc. At MD&Co., Chris worked closely with private equity clients including Bain Capital, Investcorp, Thomas H. Lee and Blackstone on engagements related to the issuance of financing opinions for transactions ranging from $50 million to in excess of $1 billion. Previously, Chris was a management consultant with Accenture, where he focused on systems integration and business process reengineering engagements. Chris currently serves on the Board of Directors of Active Brands International, CCA, Cherry Hill Holdings, Lamont Digital Systems and Total Military Management, and has been responsible for and involved in the execution of investments in C/G Electrodes, Maxima Technologies & Systems, Milestone Traditions, Nalite International, Synergy and TransCore. Chris received an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Accounting from Villanova University. Jonathan R. Zimbalist, Partner, Eureka Growth Capital Jonathan has been executing private equity transactions since 1996. Prior to joining Eureka, Jonathan was a vice president with Berwind’s leveraged acquisition group where he managed four platform acquisitions and nine add-on acquisitions. Jonathan also worked closely with leveraged acquisition portfolio companies in strategy development and operations management as well as directing Berwind’s relationships with senior and mezzanine financing sources. Previously, Jonathan was associated with A.G. Edwards & Sons in its mergers and acquisitions department and J.P. Morgan & Co. Jonathan currently serves on the Board of Directors of Everite, Lamont Digital Systems and UTC Retail; and managed Eureka’s investment in MTS Medication Technologies (AMEX: MPP). Jonathan received his BS in Economics from the Wharton School and his BA in International Relations from the College of Arts and Sciences, both of the University of Pennsylvania.
Jonathan Y. Chou, Principal, Eureka Growth Capital Prior to joining Eureka, Jonathan was an Engagement Manager in L.E.K. Consulting LLC Boston office. While at L.E.K, Jonathan managed over 20 strategy consulting engagements and 15 private equity due diligence transactions as part of L.E.K.'s M&A and strategy consulting practices. Jonathan's industry experience includes manufacturing, industrial products, transportation, consumer products and retail. Previous to L.E.K., Jonathan executed acquisitions of investment management firms as an Associate with Value Asset Management, Inc. and worked as a Financial Analyst with the investment banking division of BT Alex Brown Incorporated. Jonathan currently serves on the Board of Directors of Everite Machine Products, Fleetsource, Lamont Digital Systems and Total MIlitary Management. Jonathan received an MBA with Honors in Finance, Strategic Management, and Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Economics frm Columbia University.
Steve J. Simmons, Chairman and CEO, Patriot Media Communications CNJ, LLC Steven is Chairman and CEO of Simmons/Patriot Media and Communications, LLC (Patriot). Steve and the Patriot Management Team now have ownership in and manage RCN Cable, a major cable operator serving Boston, New York, Washington DC, Chicago and Pennsylvania, and Choice Cable in Puerto Rico. These companies offer high speed internet access, cable television, digital phone service, and commercial business services. Steve is also on the board of Virgin Media, a public company. Previously, Patriot owned and sold in 2007 the Cable TV system serving Princeton and 29 towns in New Jersey. In 2006 he was recognized by CableWorld as US Independent Cable Operator of The Year for Patriot’s operational success and advanced technology. Prior to Patriot, Steve was Chairman and CEO of Simmons Communications which served over cable customers in 20 states. He also has chaired for over 20 years the Cable Entrepreneurs Club that includes 24 present and former CEO’s of cable television companies. Steve is a graduate of Cornell University (BA 1968) and Harvard Law School (JD 1972).
