Ray York, Senior Director of Technical Operations, SBCA, SCTE, Wavetech, 3M and Directv Certified

Ray has over 20 years of experience in the cable TV and telecommunications industry, having worked in nearly every phase of operations from plant design and construction to supervising personnel and contract delivery. Ray is well versed in fiber optic installation and termination for both single-mode and multi-mode applications, as well as fusion splicing as well as installing and activating microwave and fiber links. Ray's responsibilities include overseeing the construction and maintenance departments, including all construction jobs, plant design, material requirements, earth station design and installation, and technical support to both customers and in house service personnel. Ray has significant training in data infrastructure and category 5 cabling design and installation.

 

Bill Hallinan, Senior Director of Engineering, SBCA, SCTE, Hubbel, 3M and Directv Certified

Bill has been in the cable TV industry for over 30 years. Bill is responsible for RFP analysis/response, research & product development, fiber optic/coaxial system design and drafting. During his time at CTV, Bill has designed hundreds of CATV systems utilizing coaxial and HFC topologies and has incorporated WDM techniques for data and interactive applications and L-Band technology for off campus locations. Bill designed and helped manage the installation of five FTTH (fiber to the home) residential systems. Prior to CTV, Bill worked in the cable television industry as a System Lineman, Service Technician, CLI Technician, Sweep Technician, and Chief Technician. Bill has a two-year degree from the RETS Electronic Trade School.

 

Jamie Combs, Director of Programming

Jamie coordinates and documents programming activations, deletions, and changes for more than 200 college and university customer accounts. Jamie interfaces with customers, programming vendors and all CTV departments to implement new services and help resolve issues related to service changes, service problems, and general inquiries.

 

Rob Leslie, Logistical Support Technician, SCTE and SBCA Certified

Rob has been in the telecommunications industry for over 13 years. Rob joined CTV as a maintenance engineer and was promoted in 2007 to Logistical Support Technician to provide warehouse and inventory management and to support customer service operations. Rob also builds, maintains and troubleshoots various cable TV headend and HFC distribution systems. Prior to CTV, Rob worked in the security field installing and maintaining commercial CCTV, card access and security systems. Rob has completed numerous fiber optic training courses.

 

Joan Turner, Customer Support Specialist, SCTE and SBCA Certified

Joan Turner has worked in the cable TV industry for over 22 years serving in many management and technical positions. Joan has completed many NCTI courses and attended numerous manufacture training seminars at Scientific Atlanta, Blonder Tongue, Magnavox, General Instruments and others.   Joan has been involved in every phase of construction, design, engineering and technical operations including converter repair, management of warehouse and technical staffs, headend technician and technical and regional headend manager for a large MSO.   Since joining CTV, Joan has been involved with our technical operations department handling day to day maintenance and upgrades of CATV systems for CTV customers across the region. Joan was recently assigned to our Delaware office as a Customer Support Specialist.

 

Sean Doughty, Senior AutoCAD & Design Engineer, SCTE and SBCA Certified

Sean is responsible for the drawing and maintaining CAD system and as-built documents. Sean constructs the CATV Head-ends and also assists with customer support, warehouse and maintenance.

 

Diane Rupard, Purchasing Manager

(Employee since 2001)
Diane has over 20 years of experience in business operations involving customer service and material acquisitions. Diane is responsible for all product purchasing, tracking incoming and outgoing shipments, product returns/repairs and assisting with accounts payable.
